Better2gether commenced operations in 2013, and is run by Jay and Marie.

We identified a gap where people with an intellectual disability were often inactive or not engaged.

We wanted to create opportunities for people who can be active but are not due to either self-motivation or their environment.

Better2gether provide opportunities for clients to be active and participate in the community to build capacity to achieve their outcomes and lead ordinary lives as valued citizens.

Better2gether provide a Family-Centred approach, where family is the key to the success of anyone living a life they want to live.

All people need is family, friends and community connections to feel part of something.

We aim to do this through the services we provide.

Better2gether would like to assist friends to live together in the community.

Most people move out of home at some stage and move in with friends and Better2gether want to help people with an intellectual disability make this happen!

People with a disability leading ordinary lives.

Our mission statement is “Helping People Explore their Options and Grow”.

This guides our business in our operation and participation in the wider community.
